Wendy Griffiths

Assistant Director, Birmingham City Council

Having worked in a variety of Local Government roles for the past 18 years, and previously in the commercial private sector industry, Wendy brings a wealth of experience in delivering large scale transformation programmes that drive sustainable benefits and support new ways of working.

Wendy previously worked at Coventry City Council, successfully managing and growing the Commercial Waste and Passenger Transport services and at Nottingham, leading the Adult Social Care and Children’s Transformation programmes to deliver large scale financial and non-financial benefits.

More recently, for the last six years at Birmingham City Council, Wendy has led the Customer Service, Digital Mail and Business Improvement teams, which include the Customer Service Contact Centre, as well as delivering the Customer Service Programme across the wider Council and the Business Improvement Programme.

Wendy is passionate about public service and ensuring that the customer experience is of the highest standard.
